Our client is an international group offering iGaming services in Europe and Latin America. With both offline and online gaming options, the company provides diverse entertainment experiences. In its four decades of operation, it has grown into a multi-channel iGaming service with thousands of customers.

Business challenge

The client was struggling with limitations of an outdated payment system that did not meet customers’ expectations and hindered growth. The legacy system was built on outdated technology that was no longer supported.

The existing code which the organization had adopted in the client’s environment showed substandard efficiency, lacking the capacity required to handle increasing workloads. In addition, the overall business logic needed to be revised and unified.

At the same time, our client encountered problems with monitoring and logging in the legacy payment system, causing a lack of transparency and traceability.

Solution

Payment System Redesign for an International iGaming Operator

After analyzing the client’s legacy payment system and isolating the issues affecting its performance and impairing customer trust and loyalty, Intellias designed a transformation strategy aimed at increasing payment process efficiency. The solution included migration from outdated technology to modern software leveraging the potential of cloud computing.

Using the .NET framework and Microsoft Azure cloud services, our team redesigned frontend and backend functionality of the client’s payment system, fixing issues and expediting performance. Taking advantage of the features available in one of the latest framework versions, we secured the required level of efficiency, streamlining code organization and bringing structure to production processes.

The redesigned payment platform supports integration with multiple payment services as well as Visa and Mastercard, extending the range of payment options available to users. Customers can now take advantage of a two-way transaction feature, allowing them to both deposit and withdraw funds in an intuitive user interface.

Following project completion, Intellias experts conducted training sessions for the client’s development team to help them onboard with the new system.
